Camp Tuck – Rules and Regulations

Since this is our own private campsite, we ask you to please be considerate and follow all of our rules and regulations.  We consider our guests to be our friends and we ask you to leave it the same way that you found it for our next friends who will be visiting.

  1. We accept class A, B & C motorhomes up to 30 feet in length, and Camper Vans and Camper Trucks with onboard bathroom facilities. We cannot accommodate 5th wheels or travel trailers due to configuration of our site. We do not allow tent campers unless accompanied by an accepted RV with bathroom facilities.
  2. Check in is after 2 p.m. and check out is 11:00 a.m. You need to arrive before sunset in order to access the property easily and safely.
  3. Cancellation Policy: 50% refund if cancelled at least 1 week prior to check in day and time, which is 11:00am. No refund if cancelled within 1 week before check in. There are no exceptions to this policy.  Guests failing to contact us to cancel their reservation (within the time listed above) will be considered a no show.  No Shows are subject to the same cancellation policy.
  4. Vehicle parking is available on the site and there is also short-term parking up top at the entrance on the pull off that would fit at least two additional vehicles.
  5. Ground disposal of any drain water (gray or black) is prohibited by State Law. Wastewater must be disposed of into the septic drain.  DO NOT PUT GREASE DOWN THE SEPTIC DRAIN.
  6. Sewer connections are required by State Law and must have a tight seal by either a sewer donut (rubber donut) or threaded screw-type connector.
  7. Clean the site: Don’t leave a dirty site for the next campers.  All trash must be taken out with you when you leave.
  8. Put your fire out: This is one of the most important camping rules.  Be sure to put out your fire before bed, before heading out for the day, or when you leave the site at the end of your stay.  Make sure that the coals or ashes are cold.
  9. The picnic table is not to be moved from its existing location. No fires allowed anywhere on the property except in the fire pit.
  10. The fire pit is for firewood only. Food scrapes, cigarette butts, plastic, aluminum cans, bread ties etc. or anything else are not to be put in the fire pit.
  11. No Vehicle repairs are allowed on the site. Vehicles must be well maintained, meaning no oil leaks.
  12. Pets are welcome however, all pets must be leashed and under physical control of the owner/handler at all times. Please do not leave your pet outside unattended and you must pick up after your pet.
  13. No fireworks allowed.
  14. No shooting of any firearms allowed.
  15. No trimming or wood gathering from trees. Firewood can be purchased nearby.
  16. Since camping is an outdoor experience, we are not able to give refunds due to the whims of Mother Nature.
  17. We reserve the right to evict or refuse entry to any person who has evidenced a disregard for the rules, without a refund.

I have read the above and agree to adhere to these rules and regulations.  I understand that we are agreeing to use the campsite at our own risk and acknowledge that management and owners are not responsible for damage, injury or loss to persons, pets or property.
